Website and webshop

A webshop with stock management, built on your POS system

With the complete Count-IT webshop you sell online with the same products, prices and discounts as in your shop. No integration between two systems is needed: the webshop works directly on your data in Count-IT.

In short

The complete Count-IT webshop has a homepage, category pages with filters, product pages, a basket, online checkout, a wish list and My account. It uses the same prices as the POS, supports Dutch, English, German and French, and takes care of titles, sitemap, structured data and a Google product feed itself.

  • Products, prices and discounts from Count-IT, without synchronisation
  • Customer accounts with their own prices and VAT code
  • Own domain, multiple languages and findability built in

What is the Count-IT webshop?

The Count-IT webshop is a complete online shop that is part of the same system as your POS, product management and orders. You choose which products appear in the webshop and in which categories; name, description, images, price and product information come from Count-IT. A POS system and webshop in one.

Because the webshop works directly on your data, there is nothing to synchronise. The webshop uses the same prices as the POS: discounts, quantity prices and price lists for all customers apply online too. A webshop order arrives in Count-IT and can automatically become a sales order and invoice, so you process it with your other orders and your stock.

There are two templates with the same products, categories, shipping costs and payment methods: the complete webshop on this page and the one-page order shop, for example for takeaway in hospitality. Already have a webshop on WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento 2 or CS-Cart? Then you can also connect it.

Features

Everything a webshop needs

The parts of the complete webshop.

Homepage in your own house style

A banner with title and button, a bar with benefits, your main categories, featured products and your own text. You set logo, colours, font, header and footer, and custom CSS if you like.

Categories with filters

Category pages with subcategories, sorting by price, name or newest, and filters on product information such as colour or size. The brand automatically becomes a filter when there is more than one brand.

Product pages with specifications

Images, description, a table of specifications from your product information fields, a breadcrumb to the category and more products from the same category. Discounts show the old price struck through.

Basket and wish list

The basket opens as a panel beside the page and automatically uses the price for the chosen quantity when there is a quantity price. Customers can save products to a wish list.

Customer accounts and own prices

A logged-in customer sees their orders, downloads their invoices, gets their own prices and discounts and checks out with their own VAT code, for example reverse charge. You can limit login to known customers.

Multiple languages

Dutch, English, German and French, with translated product names, descriptions and addresses (URLs). Visitors switch language and stay on the same page.

Findable in Google and AI

Titles and descriptions per page, breadcrumbs, structured data, a sitemap, an llms.txt for AI assistants and a product feed for Google Merchant Center. With your own domain, everything counts towards your own name.

Online payment and shipping

Customers pay online through a connected payment provider such as Mollie or Pay.nl. You set shipping countries, shipping costs, free shipping from an amount, delivery time and return period.

How it works

From product to online order

  1. Choose products

You add products from Count-IT as webshop products in the right categories, optionally with their own name, price or description.

  2. Set up the webshop

You choose the Complete webshop template, set house style, homepage, languages, domain and shipping, and connect a payment provider.

  3. Sell online

The customer orders, pays online and receives an order confirmation. If you wish, you receive a copy of every order.

  4. Process in Count-IT

The order arrives in Count-IT and can automatically become a sales order and invoice, also only after full payment.

To be fair

Good to know

So you know in advance whether it fits.

  • Discounts per product group do not exist; you set discounts per product.
  • Customers do not change their details under My account themselves; they ask you and you update them in your administration.
  • You enter translations yourself; an empty translation shows the text from the default language.
  • The webshop is part of the Full plan, not Light.
Frequently asked questions

Questions about the website and webshop

Can I build my own webshop with Count-IT?

Yes. The Complete webshop template gives you a webshop with homepage, category pages, product pages, basket, online checkout, wish list and My account, directly on your products and prices in Count-IT. The webshop is part of the Full plan.

What is the difference between the Count-IT webshop and a webshop integration?

The Count-IT webshop works directly on your data, so without synchronisation. With a webshop integration you keep WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento 2 or CS-Cart and Count-IT exchanges data, with a leading system per type of data.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. Enter your domain under Findability, for example www.myshop.com. Search engines then index only that domain, and you can register the webshop with Google Search Console yourself.

Which languages does the webshop support?

Dutch, English, German and French. You choose a default language and extra languages. Fixed texts such as buttons and checkout are translated automatically; you translate your products, categories and pages yourself, including the page address.

Do business customers get their own prices in the webshop?

Yes. A logged-in customer gets their own price lists, customer prices and customer discount, as long as these are lower than the normal webshop price. If the customer has their own VAT code, such as reverse charge or 0% within the EU, the webshop uses it.

How do customers pay in the webshop?

Online, through a connected payment provider such as Mollie or Pay.nl. With settings you decide, among other things, that an order is only invoiced or shipped after full payment.

Will my webshop be found in Google?

The webshop takes care of the basics itself: titles and descriptions per page, breadcrumbs, structured data, a sitemap and a product feed for Google Merchant Center. An overview for AI assistants (llms.txt) is added automatically.

Can I also manage regular web pages and news?

You manage web pages such as a privacy statement or terms and conditions with the webshop. With the CMS module you also manage news, reviews, images, files, analytics and campaign links in Count-IT.
