Connect WooCommerce to Count-IT

Count-IT synchronises customers, products and product groups with WooCommerce, sends prices, discounts and stock to your webshop and loads orders.

In short

Customers, products and product groups flow in both directions; sales prices, discounts and stock go from Count-IT to WooCommerce; webshop orders come into Count-IT. Suppliers and invoices are not exchanged. Suitable for shops, concept stores and B2B businesses with a WordPress webshop.

  • Category: Webshop
  • Included in the Full plan
  • We help you set it up personally

WooCommerce is an open-source webshop plugin for WordPress. With the integration you sell in store and online from the same stock, at the same prices.

What the integration does for you

  • Customers, products and product groups in both directions.
  • Sales prices and discounts from Count-IT to WooCommerce.
  • Stock from Count-IT to WooCommerce, so an in-store sale is visible online straight away.
  • Webshop orders come into Count-IT; WooCommerce reports new orders via webhooks.

Good to know

Agree beforehand which system leads for product data. If changes overwrite each other, both systems are probably leading for the same field. Suppliers and invoices are not exchanged with WooCommerce.

Synchronisation

What is synchronised?

This is the data Count-IT exchanges with WooCommerce, and the direction in which it flows.

You choose which data types and directions you use for each integration. Pick one leading system per data type, so changes do not overwrite each other.

Setup

How to set it up

  1. Add the app

Go to Settings › Master data › App connector › Apps, choose Add app, select WooCommerce and save the app.

  2. Connect

Open Connection and grant access, or enter the details you received from WooCommerce. Then choose the right administration, store or environment.

  3. Choose directions and mappings

For each data type, set the direction and the leading system, and configure compare fields and mappings (for example VAT, payment methods or warehouses).

  4. Test first

Test with one contact, one product or one transaction and check the result in History › Synchronisation.

  5. Synchronise automatically

Did the test work? Then switch on automatic synchronisation. Enter an email address for synchronisation errors, so you are notified if something keeps failing.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the WooCommerce integration

Are invoices or suppliers synchronised with WooCommerce?

No. The integration exchanges customers, products, product groups, prices, discounts, stock and orders, but no suppliers or invoices.

Why do changes in WooCommerce and Count-IT overwrite each other?

Both systems are probably leading for the same field. Set one direction per product data type and then check one product.

How quickly do WooCommerce orders reach Count-IT?

WooCommerce reports new orders via webhooks, so they appear in Count-IT quickly. Count-IT also synchronises periodically as a safety net.
