Connect Buckaroo to Count-IT

With the Buckaroo integration you take payments in store on a Buckaroo payment terminal or with Buckaroo Tap to Pay.

In short

Count-IT sends the amount to your Buckaroo terminal in store; the payment status comes back to the till quickly via webhooks. Buckaroo Tap to Pay is available as a separate integration. Designed for shops and hospitality businesses that process card payments with Buckaroo.

Buckaroo is a Dutch payment service provider. Count-IT connects to Buckaroo for card payments in store.

In the Buckaroo app you choose the authentication method and enter the key or token. Then, in the hardware settings, you choose the Buckaroo app, the store and the terminal. When you save, Count-IT automatically creates a webhook subscription so the payment status comes back quickly; the regular status check remains active as a safety net.

A separate Count-IT terminal subscription is not required.

You choose which data types and directions you use for each integration. Pick one leading system per data type, so changes do not overwrite each other.

Setup

How to set it up

Add and connect the app
Add Buckaroo via Settings › Master data › App connector › Apps and enter the details you received from Buckaroo.
Link the terminal
Under Settings › Hardware › Hardware, choose the Buckaroo app and then the terminal that belongs to the till.
Set up the payment method
Link the terminal to a payment method, so the POS sends the amount to the terminal automatically at checkout.
Make a test payment
Make a test payment with a small amount. If an outcome is ever unclear, check the status in Count-IT and with Buckaroo before you charge again.
