Connect Worldline to Count-IT

You connect Worldline payment terminals to Count-IT via CTEP, so payments and refunds are processed without keying in.

In short

Count-IT sends the amount to your Worldline terminal via the CTEP protocol and processes the outcome straight into the sale and the day closing. That saves typing errors and time at the till. Suitable for shops, hospitality businesses and concept stores in the Netherlands and Belgium with a Worldline terminal.

Worldline supplies payment terminals for retail and hospitality, including in the Netherlands and Belgium. Count-IT supports Worldline terminals via the CTEP protocol.

How it works

At checkout you choose card payment. Count-IT sends the amount to the terminal, the customer pays and the result comes back to the till. The payment appears on the receipt and in the day closing straight away, so your card totals match. You also start card refunds from the till.

What you need

A Worldline terminal with CTEP support and the connection details you get from Worldline. Count-IT includes local support for CTEP, as far as terminal, licence and local software allow.

Combining card with cash or a gift card? Count-IT supports split payments within one transaction.

Synchronisation

Setup

How to set it up

  1. Details from your supplier

You receive the connection and account details for your terminal from Worldline or your payment service provider. These details belong to the terminal and should never be guessed.

  2. Add the terminal

Add the terminal under Settings › Hardware › Hardware and choose the right type and connection details.

  3. Link a payment method

Link the terminal to the card payment method, so the POS passes on the amount automatically.

  4. Make a test payment

Make a test payment with a small amount and check that it appears on the receipt and in the day closing.
